Everything you need to know about CDM and the Christlike Disciplemakers Movement.

CDM is an interdenominational Christian ministry committed to Christlikeness, discipleship, and world evangelism. Its core mission is to mobilize, equip, and send believers into every sphere of society and across nations to help finish the task of world evangelism within a generation. CDM is not a church—it is a movement. Members are encouraged to remain rooted in their local churches while being equipped and sent out as Christlike disciple-makers through CDM.

CDM began in 1985 as the Mobile Evangelistic Unit led by Apostle J.F.K. Mensah and his wife Georgina Mensah. It was officially registered as a ministry in Ghana on 3rd November 2008 and has since grown into an international movement.

CDM's mission is guided by 2 Timothy 2:2, emphasizing that disciples are made by Christlike disciples and not just born. The movement trains believers to grow in Christlikeness and to reproduce disciple-makers who will impact their communities and nations spiritually.

Discipleship is the heartbeat of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). It is the process by which believers are transformed into the image of Christ and equipped to fulfil God's purposes in their generation. Without intentional discipleship, believers may remain spiritually immature and unable to effectively advance God's kingdom.

Every believer is called to be both a disciple and a disciple-maker. Discipleship is not limited to church leaders or ministry workers—it is for all who have received Christ and desire to grow in Christlikeness. Whether new to the faith or seasoned in ministry, every Christian benefits from and contributes to the discipleship process.

Absolutely. CDM is a movement, not a church. We strongly encourage every member to remain committed to their local church while participating in CDM's discipleship training, events, and mission activities. CDM exists to equip and strengthen believers to be more effective in their churches and communities, not to replace the local church.

CDM operates globally through several continental/charter groups, each committed to the movement's mission but tailored to their regional context. These include CDM Ghana, CDM UK, CDM USA, CDM South Africa, and CDM Europe.

Each continental or regional group (e.g., CDM UK, CDM USA, CDM Europe, CDM Africa) functions under the broader CDM global vision but develops activities suited to its region's culture, opportunities, and disciple-making needs. They work collaboratively with CDM Ghana and other continents to fulfill the Great Commission.

CDM's ministries and regional groups organize discipleship training programs and courses, Bible College sessions and ministry equipping events, prayer gatherings and intercession movements, annual retreats and summits, and mission outreaches including outreach to Unreached People Groups.

CDM believes that the Great Commission can be fulfilled within one generation if believers are trained as Christlike disciples who then make other disciples and plant churches across cultures and continents.

The CDM Bible College is an interdenominational institution that equips believers to become effective disciple-makers with strong biblical foundations. It operates under the umbrella of CDM and supports discipleship training globally, providing structured education for ministry service.

Interested individuals can connect with their regional CDM chapter (such as CDM UK or CDM USA) for discipleship training, events, prayer meetings, or outreach participation. Contact details are typically available via CDM global or the respective regional group's communication channels online.
