Who are CDM-UK?

We are Christlike Disciplemakers Movement in the UK, CDM-UK. We are a ministry committed to modelling, teaching and training people in Christlikeness, disciple-making and evangelism. We foster a culture of disciplemaking in order to equip and send individuals, groups and churches as Christ-like disciples on mission in every part of society in order to finish the task of world evangelism within one generation.

CDM-UK is an outgrowth of the Christlike Disciplemakers Movement, which began in Ghana in 2005 with a mandate to mobilise and equip churches to reach people of nations through intentional and structured Christlike disciplemaking.

Our Core Values

Christlikeness

Christlikeness is the ultimate purpose and mission of the Christian life. CDM-UK is dedicated to modelling and spreading Christlikeness throughout the UK and beyond, holding the life, example and ministry of Christ Jesus as the pattern and goal for all spiritual growth (Romans 8:29).

Making Disciples who Make Disciples

CDM-UK is committed to leading with best biblical practices in disciplemaking, following Christ Jesus’s pattern and command (Matthew 28:19-20). We accept that making disciples is an intentional effort and process reflecting the wisdom of Christ to multiply fruitful and stable believers, and for the strategic advancement of God’s kingdom.

Jesus in the Marketplace

CDM-UK is committed to training and coaching members to be ambassadors of Christ Jesus in all areas of life—work, school, home, marketplace, neighbourhoods (Matthew 5:13-16)—serving as priests and representatives of Christ in their everyday environments.

Discovery, Development and Use of Gifts and Callings

CDM-UK helps people fulfil God’s unique call on their lives, by guiding people’s discovery of their unique purpose in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:10), uncovering spiritual gifts and callings to bless God and others, and therefore find true fulfilment and divine purpose.

Finishing the task of world evangelism

CDM-UK is committed to completing the task of the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ within a generation to satisfy the desire of God that none perish (2 Peter 3:9), through the preaching of the gospel to everyone and making disciples of those who respond.

Ministry to the poor, vulnerable and unreached

CDM-UK is committed to serving the poor and marginalized through specific and targeted ministries as a reflection of God’s compassionate heart for those who are less fortunate. We believe in equality and respect for all people regardless of race, nationality or ethnicity, and we advocate social justice for forgotten and unreached people’s groups.

Preparing the church of Christ for His second coming

CDM-UK is dedicated to awakening the church in the UK to meet her King. We aim to raise up apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to equip Christians for Christ’s mission (Ephesians 4:11-13), believing leadership of local churches are key to transforming the Church into a mobilized force.

Disciplemakers Temple (DMT) is a thriving branch of Great Commission Church International (GCCI), established in 2018 by Apostle JFK Mensah. As a model church for GCCI and the global body of Christ, DMT is dedicated to raising committed disciples with a mission to fulfill world evangelism.

Freeman Kodzo Dumenu

Mr. Freeman Kodzo Dumenu is a devoted servant of God and a committed believer in the Christian faith, with a clear focus on fulfilling the Great Commission as outlined in Matthew 28:18–20. He is deeply knowledgeable in discipleship and passionate about raising believers who live truly Christlike lives. Alongside shepherding his own church, he invests time in guiding and mentoring disciples, equipping them not only to follow Christ but also to pass their faith on to others. As the general overseer of Christlike Disciplemakers UK, Mr. Freeman carries a God-given vision to see lives transformed across the nation, trusting that through God’s help and faithful obedience, the UK will be reached for Christ

Michael Ebo Acquah

Head of Missions & Strategic Ministry

Michael’s role in CDM-UK is (in strategizing and co-ordinating the many expressions of the mission). He loves to connect with people to build confidence and trust in God’s word, and to help people more interested in becoming a little more like Jesus. When he is not getting lost in live music recordings or looking up the latest reviews on blood conditions, he is likely exploring Wikipedia while nibbling a lemon drizzle cake. He also serves in New Life Church Derby.

Dr Eddie Thabo Moreko

Dr Eddie Thabo Moreko is a qualified dentist by profession, currently practising in the North of England. Alongside his clinical work, he is deeply committed to discipleship, leadership development, and Christian ministry. He serves as a member of the Executive Committee of CDM UK and is an active member of Disciple Makers Temple (DMT), an online church community. Dr Moreko is also the Overseer of CDMSA (Christlikeness Disciple Makers South Africa), a growing ministry currently in its formative stage.

Victoria Owusu Achiaw

General Secretary

Victoria Owusu Achiaw serves as the General Secretary of the ministry, providing administrative leadership and supporting the effective coordination of its vision and activities. She is actively involved in youth ministry, working closely with young people to nurture spiritual growth, leadership, and a strong sense of purpose. Victoria is also deeply engaged in church discipleship, contributing to teaching, organisation, and the development of believers as they mature in their faith. She is passionate about serving God through both structured leadership and relational, people-centred ministry.
